The new terminal at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, Peru, will be a state-of-the-art airport facility designed to improve the travel experience for passengers and increase the airport's capacity to accommodate an expected 37.7 million passengers by 2030.
As part of the project development, a team of experienced professionals from LATAM LOGISTICS provided consulting services for the design, implementation, and management of the Security Screening Checkpoint (SSCP). The consulting services for the new terminal included the following:
- Systems Design and Engineering (2021 – 2022): Guidelines for the design and engineering of the carry-on baggage system, ensuring its compliance with international industry standards and local regulations.
- Vendor Tender Evaluation (2022): As part of the project, the consulting team contrasted vendor proposals to ensure that project stakeholders received the best value for money.
