In March 2019, AENA won the bidding contest held by ANAC for the expansion, maintenance and operation of six airports in Northeast Brazil for a period of 30 years. After assuming control, AENA Brazil initiated a project to update the airport facilities.

The consulting services provided included:
- Study of the BHS, HBS and SSCP Systems: Exhaustive analysis of current systems and identification of areas for improvement.
- System Design and Engineering: Guidelines for the design and engineering of BHS, HBS and SSCP systems, ensuring that they comply with international standards and local regulations.
