Project Description

Libreville International Airport is building a new terminal building to meet growing passenger demand due to increased tourism and Gabon's economic growth. To reach the 1.36 million passengers expected by 2040, LATAM LOGISTICS has provided consulting services for the design, implementation and operation of the Baggage Handling System (BHS), Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) and Security Screening Checkpoint (SSCP). The contributions for Libreville International Airport included:

  • System Design and Engineering: Criteria for the design and engineering of BHS, HBS and SSCP systems that conform to both international industry standards and local regulations. In order to comply with regulations and, at the same time, ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Vendor Tender Documentation: The consultancy team generated documentation, including reports, technical specifications, general and detailed schematics, and budget, for the BHS, HBS and SSCP systems as part of the project.
