CIAA contracted LATAM LOGISTICS to collaborate in the implementation of innovative security equipment for the inspection of individuals and baggage. The equipment is the following: body scanners, EDS CB and EDS Standard 3. These systems will enable the CIAA to meet the current highest safety standards while improving efficiency and customer experience.
To accomplish this objective, LATAM LOGISTICS developed the conceptual design of the Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) and Security Screening Checkpoint (SSCP).

- On-site Evaluation: An on-site visit was conducted to evaluate the current system to gain a better understanding of the building and how to implement the new system.
- System Design and Engineering: The design and engineering recommendations to ensure that HBS and CBS systems meet both international standards and local regulations.
- Vendor Tender Documentation: Preparation of tender documentation, reports, technical specifications, general and detailed layouts, and budget for the HBS and CBS systems.
